Vintage Croquet Stakes - 2 - Turned/Grooved Wood 15 1/2 Inches Long x about 3/4 of and inch in diameter.  This is a matching pair of solid wood stakes.  They were turned twice after the first picture so you can see 3 different views of the sides.  They have great turned or grooved accents on which each of the 6 colors to match the balls and mallets is applied.  They have great eye appeal and would make for great decor or accent pieces.  They could also still certainly be used.
The stakes are in good used vintage condition.  There are some cracks in the orange section on one piece (see the pictures).  There is just a bit of dirt residue on the pointed ends from normal use.  There is very little wear on the bottom pointed ends and top ends of the stakes - they must have been carefully pushed in the ground rather than pounded in.  The paint show wear with some color loss.  Some may choose to repait, others may choose to leave the rustic weathered look.
